Austral Monsoon "H10" 50mm Steel Roller Shutter
Maximum Size - 2750 mm wide x 2750 mm high
Applications
The H10 is an access door for building perimeters or storage applications. Specific applications for this steel roller shutter
include
stadiums, serving counters, garages, general storage rooms, plant rooms, council facilities and sports grounds.
Features
-
Curtain - Constructed using 50 x 0.4 or 50 x 0.6 mm interlocking slats in galvanised steel roll, formed in house at
Austral Monsoon. Slat thickness is dependent on the opening width, as well as your security requirements. The slats are kept in place using
nylon end clips, fitted with galvanised steel rivets. For further information, refer to the technical information detail below.
-
Bottom Rail - Rigid extruded aluminium section. A bottom seal can be provided as an optional extra. For further information,
refer to the technical information detail below.
-
Side Guides (Track) - Side Guides are fabricated from galvanised steel channel roll, formed in house at Austral Monsoon, and
completed with splayed tops. Side guides size is 50 x 28 x 2.5mm. Where required or specified, the side guides are bolted to fixing
angles or posts of size and thickness to suit the shutter and application. For further information, refer to the technical information
detail below.
-
Roller Drum - Fabricated from mild steel or galvanised tube with the outside diameter and thickness appropriate to the size
and application of the steel roller shutter.
-
Bracket Plates - Fabricated from 3 mm galvanised steel, in sizes to suit the height of the opening and engineered tube size.
-
Operation - Generally hand operated. However, appropriate tube motors can be fitted. Tube motors are 240 volts, and can be
activated through a variety of control devices to suit application or customer preference. Tube motors require single phase, 10 amp, 3
pin plug socket within one metre of each door opening.
-
Door Locking - Shootbolts can be fitted internally or externally to accept padlocks, or two-way, two-point, key
operated lock, fitted to the bottom rail, or at waist height. Locking is not recommended for electrically operated roller shutters.
-
Finishes - Galvanised steel items are left in their raw form. Powder coating (in standard available colours) is an
optional extra, and is applied using our in house powder coat line.
-
Vision / Ventilation - As an optional extra, slats can be provided with perforations or slots, to provide ventilation
or vision through the curtain. For further information, refer to the technical information detail below.
-
Hoods / Fascias - Available as optional extras to suit the application. Hoods are manufactured in house from 0.5 mm
galvanised steel sheets. Fascias are fabricated using 50 x 28 x 2.5 mm galvanised steel channel for the perimeter frame, and interlocking
galvanised steel roll formed slats as an infill panel.
